Assets

Assets represent physical tables, views, files, topics, dashboards, and other resources on the data platform. Assets can be assigned to a data product, or directly to an output port. They are useful to quickly navigate from Data Mesh Manager to the actual data in the data platform.

Assets can only be created through the API or using an integration connector that scans available resources on the data platform.
